European Industrial Doctorate

REWATERGY project wants to help researchers gain experience of different working environments while developing skills in industry and business. PhD candidates are enrolled in a doctoral programme and jointly supervised by the academic and non-academic partners. Our candidates should be established in at least two different EU or associated countries and work with one academic partner and one partners from the business world.

Each ESR will crucially gain inter-sectoral experience in an individual ESR research project, with the main working period (36 months) of the ESR equally split into an academic and an industrial part of 18 months in at least 2 different countries.

REWATERGY specifics objectives are divided into interrelated research and training objectives. The ESRs will participate in a training program designed by the academic and industrial partners to provide highly trained scientists and engineers and to tackle two main demands of the current European market.

These training courses along with the attendance to research congresses, workshops and periodic meetings will be part of the project’s events.
